The first one. Poof is a to-do list that’s honest about time: tell it how long you actually have, and it plans the day inside that window. Finish something and it doesn’t get a strikethrough — it vanishes.
- The Magic Planner. Tell Poof how much time you have and tap once. It lays out your day inside that window — overdue first, deadlines next, a couple of quick wins up front for momentum, and real breaks in between. Anything that doesn’t fit gets flagged instead of quietly buried at the bottom.
- Write tasks the way you’d say them. Type “Gym tomorrow at 6 PM for 45 minutes” and Poof fills in the date, the time, the duration, and the category. Change anything it guesses wrong before you save.
- Five ways to finish. Every completed task disappears — pick the effect you like best, from a puff of smoke to a shower of stardust. Undo is always one tap away if you poof the wrong thing.
- Make it yours. Seven themes in both light and dark, eight app icons, seven categories, and a custom emoji for any task that deserves one.
- Reminders that respect the estimate. Set a reminder at the due time, a fixed number of minutes before, or let Poof lead by however long you said the task would take.
- Repeating tasks — daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or every N days — that roll forward on their own.
- History, so you can see what you finished, restore anything you poofed by mistake, and set how long it sticks around.
Free, with no account to create, no subscription, and no ads. Poof works with no signal, and nothing you write ever leaves your phone — there are no servers, no analytics, and no third-party code in the app at all.
